New Support Groups!Introducing three new support groups this summer at the EAC! You asked, we listened. We are excited to announce that beginning in July we will be offering a monthly women’s only support group and a caregivers’ support group for parents with children that have been diagnosed with epilepsy. In August we add a caregiver group for partners and spouses of people that live with epilepsy. You don’t have to do this alone. |

Kris Fernet
– Manager of Development
Kris has been a professional fundraiser for almost 25 year and has a passion for data and communications.
A few fun facts about Kris is that he is a musician, loves the outdoors, fishing, and camping. Kris shares his home with a pet turtle, fish, a few other critters!
Andrea Sereda, MSW, RSW
– Counsellor & Educator
Andrea is passionate about empowering people through education. She loves designing and implementing programs and has a special interest in epilepsy as her husband David was diagnosed 10 years ago.
A fun fact about Andrea – she loves to dance and teaches Zumba every week for fun!
Jennifer Labelle, MSW, RSW
– Counsellor & Educator
Jennifer is excited to back at the EAC after completing a university practicum here about ten years ago.
A fun fact about a Jennifer is that she and her husband lovingly share their home with a small brood of senior animals: Chrissy, their dog is 13, Empy their cat is 16, and Kirby another kitty is 15.
